The culmination of a long-term study of data pertaining to the lives, social circumstances, and well-being of American Indians and Alaska Natives across California, the goal of this report was to convey the narratives of Native Americans as they relate to power, activism, representation, and resistance.

The color scheme for the We the Resilient report was created by using the parent organization’s own branding as a base, with three additional colors added in order to reach the variety necessary to reflect the six ethnic populations represented in the data throughout the report, while simultaneously balancing the warmth of the red and gold with cooler, complementary selections.
